KC Masterpiece® is a brand name that is synonymous with barbeque sauce. The challenge given to Ivarson Brand Vision was to develop a companion line of products that retains the strength of the parent brand while clearly communicating the unique attributes of flavored marinades. To distinctively differentiate the marinade family, a light cream color with warm, rich tones and radiating gold lines were selected as part of a unifying background treatment. Each flavor has a unique and appropriate color-coded theme that is combined with carefully composed photo-realistic ingredient illustrations to enhance appetite appeal and to simplify the shopping experience. The result is a packaging system that effectively supports the positioning of KC Masterpiece Marinades as a quick and easy way to go from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
