Andersen Windows needed a brand name to identify a new material technology that is a unique composite of wood fibers encapsulated by thermoplastic polymer. It combines the strength, insulating capability, and stability similar to wood, with the low maintenance features of vinyl. Our solution, Fibrex, suggests this enhanced natural wood fiber technology.
